Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 January 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you use the website and Platform. It is designed to meet Swiss transparency obligations under the revised FADP.

1. Controller (responsible for processing)

Controller / Responsible party: Roberts Cjunskis
Email: cjunskis@cjunco.com
Phone: +41 76 238 24 13

2. What this Privacy Policy covers

This policy applies to:

  • website visits,
  • account creation and use (athlete, coach, parent/guardian),
  • assessments, tools, and saved “artifacts” (e.g., role cards, protocols),
  • team participation (rosters and coach dashboards),
  • communications with us (support or operational messages).

3. Personal data we process

3.1 Data you provide

Depending on your account type, we may process:

  • Account data: first name, last name, email, password (stored as a secure hash), birthdate, sport, role in sport, level/age group, team selection.
  • If you are under 18: guardian/parent name, relationship, phone number, email, and consent records (including timestamps).
  • Performance/training data: assessment answers, role selections, tool inputs, saved artifacts (JSON outputs), daily logs, and training records.
  • Support data: messages you send us and related metadata.

3.2 Data collected automatically

When you use the Platform, we may process:

  • Technical and usage data: IP address, device/browser information, timestamps, pages/screens used, log files, and diagnostic events.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 10.

4. Purposes of processing

We process personal data to:

  • create and manage accounts and authentication,
  • provide Platform features (assessments, tools, saved artifacts),
  • personalize training recommendations and outputs (including AI-assisted features),
  • manage team participation (rosters, permissions, coach dashboards),
  • communicate operational notices (e.g., consent requests, service updates),
  • maintain Platform security and prevent misuse,
  • improve reliability and user experience,
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce Terms.

5. Legal basis / justification (Swiss context)

Under Swiss law, processing is generally permitted if it is lawful and proportionate. In practice, we rely on:

  • contractual necessity (providing the Platform you requested),
  • consent (especially for minors and optional features),
  • legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and service improvement),
  • legal obligations (where applicable).

6. Minors and parental/guardian consent

If an athlete is under 18, we require parent/guardian details and consent before enabling full access. Consent is collected via a dedicated consent link and stored to document authorization.

7. Who we share data with (recipients)

7.1 Service providers (processors)

Third-party providers that help us operate the Platform (e.g., hosting, email delivery, database, analytics, error monitoring). They process data on our instructions and only as needed to provide their services.

7.2 Teams and coaches

If you join a team, team staff may access limited data as configured for the team. Unless explicitly enabled otherwise, coaches should only see:

  • role outputs (primary/secondary role, tags),
  • completion/engagement status,
  • team-level aggregate insights.

We do not sell personal data.

8. International data transfers

Depending on the location of service providers, data may be processed outside Switzerland. If transfers occur to countries without adequate protection, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual protections) as required.

9. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described and to meet legal/security needs. Typical approach:

  • Account and training artifacts: retained while the account remains active; deleted or anonymized after account deletion subject to legal/security needs.
  • Consent records (minors): retained as long as necessary to demonstrate valid consent.
  • Security logs: retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

10. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • operate essential functionality (e.g., session management),
  • remember preferences,
  • measure usage and improve the Platform (analytics), if enabled.

If we use non-essential cookies (e.g., analytics/marketing), we provide a cookie notice/controls where required.

11. Data security

We implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, such as:

  • role-based access controls,
  • encryption in transit (TLS),
  • secure password hashing,
  • logging and monitoring,
  • restricted access to production systems.

12. Your rights

You may request access to your personal data and other rights provided under Swiss law, including rights related to data access and data portability in applicable cases.

To submit a request:
Email: cjunskis@cjunco.com

We may request proof of identity before responding.

13. Communications

We send operational communications that are necessary for the Platform (e.g., consent link emails, account/security notices). Marketing messages (if any) will include an opt-out option.

14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The latest version will be posted on the website with an updated “Last updated” date.
